Some walls are built to keep people in or out, this wall was built to help people heal.

Hosted by DAV Chapter 125; Auxiliary Unit 125 and supported by The Connect Five Veterans Foundation, you are invited to join us as we ESCORT The Wall That Heals and the Michigan Vietnam Veterans Memorial Traveling Wall to Howell, MI on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. This will be the first time both memorials will be together at the same event.

STAGING AND REGISTRATION WILL BE CABELA’S PARKING LOT IN DUNDEE (JUST OFF US 23 – (watch for signs) from 12:00 noon till 2:00 pm, kickstands up at 2:00 pm sharp.

The ride will be approximately 65 miles up US-23 (north) to I-96 (east) to Kensington Road onto Grand River, proceed West on Grand River through Downtown Brighton and Howell to the Livingston County Airport (corner of Grand River and M 59) for arrival at approximately 3:30 pm.

NOTE The WALL WILL NOT be assembled until Wednesday 8/22/18, beginning at approximately 10 am. Please feel free to Like and Share our Event Invite on Facebook.

Rules for Escort participants:
1 – Chapter/Club Leadership is responsible for members actions.
2 – Cycles must be able to achieve and maintain highway speeds.
3 – SHOW RESPECT for the Wall and the Communities we will ride thru during the Escort event.
4. Don’t forget your kickstand puck as we will be parking on asphalt.
